Our Philosophy
We believe in the power of musical education. It has been said that "kids who study music do better in school, and in life" and studies show this to be true. It's never too late to learn music.
Our Methods
We use a mixture of proven method books as well as custom made studies to help students to achieve their goals. We know that motivation increases learning and we love to use your favourite songs along with standard methods. Theory, ear training, improvising are all part of the learning experience.

Ian began his musical journey at age 11 and since then has toured, recorded, played many live shows and studied music at the university level. Ian's passion for teaching and performing music has led him on this journey of sharing music for over 20 years! Ian Martens Guitar Studios is well known for being one of the top learning environments in Saskatoon Sk., Canada.
